What does it mean to be strong? That word can mean a lot of things! For some it can mean physical strength, for other’s it translates to intelligence. To me, the word can take on a lot of forms but what first comes to mind when I hear “strong woman,” is a female overcoming her obstacles to accomplish her dreams while also uplifting others to do the same. The three trends that I want to share with you today align with my vision of a strong women.

1) The Statement Suit

In my opinion, nothing says power move quite like a crisp suit. This trend has taken the fashion industry with aplomb! I was on the lookout for a suit for a long time before stumbling into a MANGO store in Puerto Rico. Their selection of women’s suits had me overwhelmed, but I finally made out with this beauty you see in today’s post. I could not find the exact set, but I'm linking up a similar blazer here. The trick to this suit trend, is wearing the blazer several sizes larger, and without a layer underneath so that the plunging neck makes a statement.

2) Prominent Hoop Earrings

It’s no secret that hoop earrings are and will always be a classic in the fashion industry. But lately hoops are making more of a statement; while thin dainty hoops were once the preferred style, the chunky hoops are making their way to the front lines. The thicker nature of the hoop makes them a more powerful statement than their fragile counterparts.
