Pastels For Fall
I’m a strong believer in the “where what you want, when you want” motto. This specifically applies to me as the fall season rolls around because this is when pastels typically fall out of favor. However, pastels are among my favorite colors and so I’m not ready to put them away just because summer’s over. So if you’re in the same boat, I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone! Today, I’ve styled 2 Femme Luxe short sleeves, one Shop Goodwill cardigan, and a SoCal With Love Sweatshirt, to give you some pastel x fall outfit inspiration.
The trick is to style your summer pastel pieces with cool-weather ones. For example, I paired my pastels with these heavy cream corduroy pants (find similar ones here). Also a majority of the pieces (like the cardigan and sweatshirt) are autumn-weather friendly by design. My favorite of the tops featured in today’s post is the tie-dye sweatshirt that SoCal With Love gifted me. SoCal With Love is a small independent Etsy shop that specializes in beautiful pastel tie-dye! I specifically appreciate that the brand offers a sweatshirt where 20% of the proceeds are donated to a rotating charity. Currently, the donations are going to essential workers in hard COVID-hit areas in Southern California and on the East Coast. Which means you can feel extra good about shopping pastels for fall!
