The Ultimate Wardrobe Staple to Help Transition into Spring Weather

OUTFIT #1

I’m so excited to finally be saying goodbye to my parka . But it’s exactly this time of the year when the weather is unpredictable. One second I’m freezing, the next I’m sweating. The key to dressing for this weather is layering! And my favorite wardrobe staple for layering is the classic crewneck. An adorable small independent brand, Studio Amarie has gifted me three crewneck styles so that I can share with you a few styling tips for this spring!

Starting with outfit #1 above, I’ve styled Studio Amarie’s New York forest green crewneck sweatshirt for a chilly spring day. I love the deep green of this New York crewneck. Dark colors like this contrast nicely with a pair of light blue jeans and an oversized trench! Throw on a pair of kicks and just like that you have an easy casual fit that’s perfect for transitioning into spring weather.

OUTFIT #2

Next, I’ve changed up that first outfit just a bit by swapping out the green New York crewneck for a similar beige one. I added a white button down underneath the sweatshirt for added dimension. This is a great way to elevate the casual look and add a preppy spin!

OUTFIT #3

Last but not least, we have this Sun and Moon crewneck t-shirt. Since the tee is more of a warm-weather piece, I paired it with a cooler-weather pant like these thrifted black leather ones! A slightly oversized tee like this is perfect for a causal retro look like the one featured above. It’s also great for layering underneath one of the sweatshirts featured above. Again, this time of the year is all about layering!

Be sure to check out the entire Studio Amarie collection. They offer a wide variety of crewnecks, both long and short sleeve. Every piece is both trendy and affordable; nothing is over $35! I went with two New York crewnecks to pay homage to where I grew up. And Studio Amarie offers a variety other cities so you can do the same!
