The Easy And Reliable Way To Decorate A Shower Yourself

You may remember my post from about two years ago where I detailed my experience working with Something Borrowed Blooms (SBB) for my wedding. SBB is a floral boutique that specializes in rentable premium silk flowers for any special event. And because the rent and return process is made simple by this female-run business, it will forever be my go-to for any major event.

My first experience with SBB was so seamless that I immediately thought of them again when my mom asked me what sort of flowers I wanted at my baby shower. Wanting a mixture of fun summer colors, their Kinsley Collection was an easy choice. Knowing how many guests to expect and approximately how many tables we would need, I ordered 12 Kinsley Small Centerpieces for the table scape. I included 5 Kinsley Floor Swag pieces for the entry way and gift table. And lastly, I went with some Kinsley Aisle Markers to add some flare to the chairs and welcome sign. All this came out to just under $1k which was more cost effective than most quotes from florists in the area.

Two days before the event, two large boxes arrived at my door with all the floral arrangements. Both boxes easily fit in a crossover car with the back seats down. The day of, my mother and mother-in-law commented on how easy it was to set up up and take down all the décor. The day after the event, I returned both boxes to a Fed Ex with no issue. No day-of-coordinator or florist needed. No dying flowers to contend with. Just simple, reliable, rentable florals. Another happy milestone in my life was made memorable by Something Borrowed Blooms and I couldn’t be more appreciative.
