"Treat Yo' Self"
"Treat Yo' Self" is one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite shows - Parks and Rec. Two of the characters take one day a year to treat themselves to whatever they'd like, and what better time of the year to follow in their footsteps than during the holidays? To give you a nudge in the right direction, I've created a "Treat Yo' Self" check-list.

It's no secret that the best way to turn a bad hair day into a good one is by getting your hair done at a salon, so it's no surprise that the number one spot is treating yourself to a good ol' cut and color session. This time around, I wanted to get rid of my split ends and my balayage highlights for the winter, so I booked an appointed with Matt, of Matt-Hair. Matt took everything I said to heart and with his own, unorthodox method, he gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had! He shaped and styled my hair to fit my unique person as opposed to doing a "one-size-fits" all hair cut.
