Brilliantly Basic

Since I'll be heading to California later tonight, I thought it appropriate to share with you some of my favorite items to travel with. Lets start from the bottom!

A comfortable and versatile pair of shoes is essential for me. I'm currently obsessing over the Shinousa Sandals, by Eleanna Katsira. These bad boys are stylish yet simple, with neutral colors that pair beautifully with jeans. Made with genuine leather and rope, the Shinousa Sandals are durable and comfortable, leading themselves to being worn all day long. As I mentioned, the sandals pair well with denim, so I'm sporting a pair of J.Crew jeans with DIY knee slits.

Another item I always pack is an AMVI t-shirt, like the Alex Jersey V-Neck that I'm sporting in today's post! AMVI offers a collection of tees that are made with quality material, come in basic colors, and feature simple designs. They are an obvious necessity in any wardrobe, especially a traveling one.

And lastly, I have my accessories! Clear favorites of mine are the Frankie watch, by Jord, and the Onyx 13-inch Tote, by Dagne Dover. Similar to the sandals and t-shirt, these two pieces feature basic designs and can be styled with a variety of ensembles, which is essential when trying to pack light!
