The Minimalist

Minimalism is a growing trend in the fashion industry and I must say, I'm quite a fan. My current favorite minimalist piece is the White Shirt-Dress, by Whoosh -- and of course, shirt-dresses in it of themselves are a popular trend. Whoosh is a brand based out of Tel Aviv that specializes in simple and beautiful designs. Each piece is handmade with the utmost care and quality. Because of the classic and durable construction of this dress, I know that it will be one of my wardrobe staples for many years to come. What's more is that the dress can be worn two ways - with or without the matching white belt. And for those of you who may be interested, I'll be featuring this dress again in the future without the belt!

Adding to the theme of classic designs, I'm sporting my new California sunglasses in bronze, by Polette. These bad boys are quite literally the most light-weight glasses I've ever owned and therefore also the most comfortable. It also doesn't hurt that they are incredibly stylish, featuring a vintage-inspired frame. While these lenses are not, Polette does offers prescription lenses on sunglasses for those of you who don't wear contacts/are lucky enough to still have 20/20 vision.

While my shoes are not "minimalist" per se I'm still going to talk about them because I'm incredibly obsessed. These lace up sandals, otherwise known as the Kad in camel, by Restricted Shoes, are a new favorite for so many reasons. They pair well with with a majority of my wardrobe, adding a little flavor to any ensemble I style them with. And like all my other shoes by Restricted, they're comfortable and affordable. If you're interested in purchasing your own pair of Kad sandals (or any other Restricted style) make sure to use discount code BESTTRENDS25 for 25% off any regular priced styles!
