Outfit #1

Outfit #1 Details: Dress // Sneakers // Purse // Sunglasses

It's officially summer now! And I cannot think of a better way to celebrate than by sharing with you the online order from my "Revamp Your Summer Wardrobe For Under $150" blog post. If you didn't have a chance to read that post, the jist of it is that Zaful.com offers an incredible amount of trendy options for remarkable prices, allowing one to purchase a new summer wardrobe without breaking the bank. So I put together an order to prove it to you, and now that order has come in the mail! I was able to conjure up 8 outfits from this one order and will be sharing outfits 1-4 in today's post (5-8 will be coming soon).

Let's start with Outfit #1, above. This Cami Back Bowtie Cut Out Striped Dress is everything and a bag of chips. The straight cut dress design (very 90's) is a hot commodity right now. You'll see this trend in nearly any shop you enter, but you probably won't find it for under $18. (Before paying full price, be sure to read through my previous blog post for tips and tricks for shopping at Zaful!) Not only is this dress a great price, it was also a quality purchase. A size small fit me perfectly and it wasn't too see through (although you will need to wear nude colored underwear).

Outfit #2

Outfit #2 Details: Jumpsuit // Flats (similar) // Fanny Pack // Sunglasses

Now on to Outfit #2, this elegant Low Cut Striped Sleeveless Jumpsuit. This is my favorite item from the entire order. The low cut is flattering, but it's not too deep that I have to worry about accidentally flashing anyone. The attached slip works to prevent the jumpsuit from being too see-through. And the thin, light yellow, vertical stripes are absolutely adorable! I think the color pairs well with just about any other bright summer hue, like the periwinkle of this Kate Spade Belt Bag. Although this item is nearly sold out, Zaful offers a bunch of striped rompers and jumpsuits to choose from.

Outfit #3

Outfit #3 Details: Top // Shorts // Sneakers // Fanny Pack // Sunglasses

This third outfit is a little more on the sporty side. I've paired these Khaki High Waisted Shorts with this Striped Cropped Tank Top, along with my Kate Spade Belt Bag to create quite the contrast. While I was not expecting these shorts to be so shiny, I was happily surprised by their versatility in being paired with a variety of tops. Not to mention, they're so incredible comfortable. This item was a "one size fits all" kind-of-deal due to the elasticity of the band. But for reference, Im usually a size 4 in bottoms, and these shorts fit perfectly. Meanwhile, for the top I went with a size small and I'm really happy with it. This top is definitely a wardrobe staple. The simple black and white pattern lends itself to being paired with almost anything.

Outfit #4

Outfit #4 Details: Romper // Tank // Sneakers // Purse // Sunglasses

Last but not least is Outfit #4. I've layered this Button Embellished Romper with this Ribbed Cropped Tank Top (which you'll see in outfit #6, featured in my next post). This romper is adorable by itself, but it shows a little too much skin for my comfort, and the straps are not the most secure. Therefore, I think it looks best layered with another top underneath so as to prevent any accidental flashing. While this was one of my least favorite of the bunch, I'm still really happy with this item for two main reasons - the fabric feels like quality material and the tie strap design is a super cute trend right now! I ordered a size small, which fits comfortably. All in all, I still recommend this item as long as you're open to the possibility of having to layer it.
