THE CASUAL LOOK

A few weeks ago I reviewed my first complimentary order from the Instagram famous brand, Femme Luxe. And now I’m back with a second order to show you just how versatile this brand’s clothing can be! Their apparel can be used for a wide range of situations, from casual going-out ensembles, to bougie brunch outfits, to formal wedding-guest looks.

The first outfit I styled is the causal going-out look, using the Femme Luxe Distressed Light Wash Mom Jeans and their Black Glitter Mesh Top. When I’m ready for a night out with my ladies, I love throwing on a pair of jeans and a cute top like this one. And let me tell you, these jeans do not disappoint! I ordered a size UK8 (US4) and they’re one of the best fitting jeans I own. The is not much stretch to the fabric, but if you order true to the size guide, then you’ll be happy. Typically, my issue with denim is that in order to fit my hips, the waist tends to be too big. These jeans did not have that problem at all! Additionally, I usually have to crop the hem of all my jeans, but these came at the perfect length for my 5’4” stature. Let’s not forget about this cool mesh top. Doesn’t it just brings you back to the 90’s? This light-weigh long sleeves is a great way to spice up what would otherwise be just a boring tank top underneath. 2. THE CLASSY LOOK

On to the next one with what I like to call the “Classy Look.” This is the type of ensemble that I’d wear to a nice brunch spot with friends or an upscale restaurant for a date-night with Bill. If you know me at all, then you’re probably not surprised that I’m sporting another pair of culottes, but what really elevates this look is the Femme Luxe White One Shoulder Crop Top. The brilliant white color and singular long sleeve design is what makes this top a head-turner. Dress it down with denim or dress it up with trousers and elegant accessories. 3. THE FORMAL LOOK

Last but not least is the most formal of all three looks. The Femme Luxe Black Bodycon Midi Dress works perfectly as a wedding-guest dress! I’m wearing the size UK8 (US4) and it fits like a glove. I paired it with some vintage kitten heels for two reasons, 1) I’m a wimp when it comes to high-heels and 2) because I’m loving the 90’s strappy sandal look lately! Since the dress has such a wide/deep v-neck, I think the addition of statement earrings is a must! I went with the Inca Half-Moon Earrings by Les Georgettes. You’ll notice that the earrings are black in some photos and red in others. That’s because Les Georgettes specializes in jewelry with 2-color reversible inserts!
